New Mexico High School Basketball - Los Alamos tops Belen
December 16, 2022: Belen, NM 87002 Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Belen Eagles (Belen, NM), 53-33 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Los Alamos upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Capital (Santa Fe, NM) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 1-3.
Next up, the Eagles play the Menaul Panthers (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Belen will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 56-33 non-league win over Laguna Acoma (New Laguna, NM).
