California High School Basketball - Ceiba College Preparatory Academy can't hold off Anzar

The Anzar Hawks basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Ceiba College Preparatory Academy Spartans to 43 in the Hawks league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hawks now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kirby Prep for a PCAL - Santa Lucia contest on Friday, January 12.

The Spartans (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Kirby Prep (Santa Cruz, CA). The Griffins enter the PCAL - Santa Lucia contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Kirby Prep nudged Chartwell (Seaside, CA), 58-24, in a non-league contest.
