Virginia High School Basketball - Benedictine trounces Cristo Rey
January 3, 2024: Richmond, VA 23238 The Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Cristo Rey Royals (Richmond, VA), 76-37 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Cadets (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 8-7 record.
The Royals now own a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Rise Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, January 4. Cristo Rey will encounter a Guardians squad coming off a 79-61 non-league win over Southern Maryland Christian Academy (White Plains, MD). The Guardians record now stands at 7-6.
