Washington High School Basketball - Ilwaco topples Chief Leschi
January 3, 2024: Ilwaco, WA 98624 In Wednesday's league outing, the Ilwaco Fishermen (Ilwaco, WA) basketball squad beat the visiting Chief Leschi Warriors (Puyallup, WA), by a count of 64-53.
The Fishermen (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against North Beach (Ocean Shores, WA). The Hyaks go into the 2B Pacific outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, North Beach defeated South Bend (South Bend, WA), 46-30, in a league outing.
The Warriors now hold a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Forks for a 2B Pacific outing on Friday, January 5. Chief Leschi will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 73-25 league win over Ocosta (Westport, WA). The Spartans record now stands at 7-4.
