Kansas High School Basketball - Council Grove overwhelms Mission Valley

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Council Grove Braves (Council Grove, KS) and the host Mission Valley Vikings (Eskridge, KS), saw Council Grove's basketball squad wallop Mission Valley by a tally of 59-28.

With the victory, Council Grove improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Braves host Osage City (Osage City, KS) to play the Indians in a Flint Hills challenge on Friday, January 5. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Osage City lost 40-39 in their recent league challenge against Central Heights (Richmond, KS)

Next up, the Vikings play the West Franklin Falcons (Pomona, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Mission Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 68-42 non-league loss to Lyndon (Lyndon, KS).
