Missouri High School Basketball - St. Pius X overwhelms Crystal City
January 3, 2024: Festus, MO 63028 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the St. Pius X Lancers (Festus, MO) and the visiting Crystal City Hornets (Crystal City, MO), saw St. Pius X's basketball squad wallop Crystal City by a tally of 59-26.
With the victory, St. Pius X improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to St. Paul Lutheran (Farmington, MO) to play the Giants in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Giants come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. St. Paul Lutheran lost 72-19 in their recent non-league challenge against Bourbon (Bourbon, MO)
Next up, the Hornets play the St. Vincent Indians (Perryville, MO) in a Jefferson County - Small challenge, on Friday, January 5. Crystal City will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record.
