February 2, 2024: Perryville, MO 63775 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the St. Pius X Lancers (Festus, MO) and the host St. Vincent Indians (Perryville, MO), saw St. Pius X's basketball squad hold off St. Vincent by a count of 66-60.
With the victory, St. Pius X upgrades its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Lancers host St. Louis HomeSchool Patriots (St. Louis, MO) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 18-3. St. Louis HomeSchool Patriots won 55-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Calvary Lutheran (Jefferson City, MO)
Next up, the Indians play the Herculaneum Black Cats (Herculaneum, MO) in a Jefferson County - Small challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. St. Vincent will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Black Cats come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 73-71 league win over Grandview (Hillsboro, MO).
