East Palestine Bulldogs (East Palestine, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host McKinley Trojans (Sebring, OH), 51-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Palestine upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Bulldogs host United (Hanoverton, OH) to play the Golden Eagles in a Eastern Ohio bout on Friday, January 5. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-5. United lost 77-38 in their recent non-league bout against Heartland Christian (Columbiana, OH)

Next up, the Trojans play the Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet bout, on Friday, January 5. McKinley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record.
