Ohio High School Basketball - Springfield crushes McKinley
January 30, 2024: New Middletown, OH 44442 Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting McKinley Trojans (Sebring, OH), 75-28 in a league bout.
With the win, Springfield upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH) to play the Rams in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet bout on Friday, February 2. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 5-12. Mineral Ridge lost 57-38 in their recent league bout against Lowellville (Lowellville, OH)
Next up, the Trojans play the Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet bout, on Friday, February 2. McKinley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 6-11 record after their 48-46 league win over McDonald (McDonald, OH).
