California High School Basketball - Riverbank tops Hilmar
January 3, 2024: Hilmar, CA 95324 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Riverbank Bruins (Riverbank, CA) and the host Hilmar Yellowjackets (Hilmar, CA), saw Riverbank's basketball squad knock off Hilmar by a count of 72-53.
With the victory, Riverbank upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Bruins host Escalon (Escalon, CA) to play the Cougars in a Trans Valley League challenge on Friday, January 5. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 13-2. Escalon won 64-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento, CA)
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA) in a Trans Valley League challenge, on Friday, January 5. Hilmar will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 67-54 league win over Livingston (Livingston, CA).
