Washington High School Basketball - Lake Stevens nips Kamiak
January 3, 2024: Lake Stevens, WA 98258 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Lake Stevens Vikings (Lake Stevens, WA) and the visiting Kamiak Knights (Mukilteo, WA), saw Lake Stevens's basketball squad hold off Kamiak by a tally of 60-55.
With the victory, Lake Stevens improves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Glacier Peak (Snohomish, WA) to play the Grizzlies in a 4A Wesco challenge on Friday, January 5. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 11-0. Glacier Peak won 54-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Jackson (Mill Creek, WA)
Next up, the Knights play the Jackson Timberwolves (Mill Creek, WA) in a 4A Wesco challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Kamiak will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 74-52 league win over Mariner (Everett, WA).
