Tennessee High School Basketball - North Jackson knocked off by Marion County
January 3, 2024: Jasper, TN 37347 The Marion County Warriors basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting North Jackson Chiefs to 52 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Warriors now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sequatchie County for a 2A District 4 contest on Friday, January 5. Marion County will meet a Indians team coming off a 56-31 non-league win over Marion County (Jasper, TN). The Indians record now stands at 6-7.
The Chiefs (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against New Hope (New Hope, AL). The Indians enter the 4A Area 14 contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, New Hope ran past Douglas (Douglas, AL), 53-48, in a non-league contest.
