California High School Basketball - Torrey Pines crushes Steele Canyon

Torrey Pines Falcons (San Diego, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA), 78-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Torrey Pines upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA) to play the Lancers in a Coastal bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 14-2.

Next up, the Cougars play the North Saxons (Torrance, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Steele Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Saxons come into the bout with a 14-4 record after their 51-45 non-league loss to Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA).
