January 3, 2024: Anoka, MN 55303 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) and the host Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN), saw Wayzata's basketball squad overcome Anoka by a tally of 60-44.
With the victory, Wayzata improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Maranatha Christian Academy (Brooklyn Park, MN) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Maranatha Christian Academy lost 70-43 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Croix Lutheran (West St. Paul, MN)
Next up, the Tornadoes confront the Spring Lake Park Panthers (Spring Lake Park, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Anoka will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 59-57 non-league loss to Mandan (Mandan, ND).
