The Ansonia Chargers basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Crosby Bulldogs to 22 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Chargers now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waterbury Career Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Ansonia will battle a Spartans team coming off a 58-40 non-league win over St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT). The Spartans record now stands at 5-2.
