California High School Basketball - Center knocked off by Bear River

January 3, 2024: Antelope, CA 95843

The Bear River Bruins basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Center Cougars to 40 in the Bruins league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bruins now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Twelve Bridges for a Pioneer Valley League contest on Friday, January 5. Bear River will meet a Raging Rhinos team coming off a 62-7 league win over Lindhurst (Olivehurst, CA). The Raging Rhinos record now stands at 6-8.

The Cougars (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Fighting Zebras enter the non-league contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Lincoln ran past Yuba City (Yuba City, CA), 52-20, in a non-league contest.
