Ohio High School Basketball - Lake Catholic crushes Cleveland Central Catholic
January 3, 2024: Mentor, OH 44060 Lake Catholic Cougars (Mentor, OH) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cleveland Central Catholic Ironmen (Cleveland, OH), 57-13 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lake Catholic upgrades its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH) to play the Bruins in a Crown bout on Saturday, January 6. The Bruins come into the bout with a record of 2-10. Padua Franciscan won 54-18 in their recent non-league bout against Bedford (Bedford, OH)
Next up, the Ironmen play the Washington Tigers (Massillon, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Cleveland Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 41-34 non-league win over Dover (Dover, OH).
