Ohio High School Basketball - Holy Name can't hold off Lake Catholic

The Lake Catholic Cougars basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Holy Name Green Wave to 43 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cleveland Central Catholic for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. Lake Catholic will battle a Ironmen team coming off a 61-22 non-league loss to Elyria Catholic (Elyria, OH). The Ironmen record now stands at 1-5.

The Green Wave (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Garrett Morgan (Cleveland, OH). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Garrett Morgan nudged Campus International (Cleveland, OH), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
