The Mission Valley Vikings routed the visiting Council Grove Braves basketball team by a final score of 42-21 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Vikings face the West Franklin Falcons (Pomona, KS) in a Flint Hills game, on Friday, January 5. Mission Valley will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Falcons enter the game with a 3-4 record after their 49-37 non-league loss to Lyndon (Lyndon, KS).
