Virginia High School Basketball - Prince Edward County trounces Randolph-Henry
January 3, 2024: Farmville, VA 23901 The Prince Edward County Eagles (Farmville, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA), 67-15 in Wednesday's league test.
The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Buckingham (Buckingham, VA). The Knights go into the James River test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Buckingham walloped Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA), 48-42, in a non-league test.
The Statesmen now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Amelia County for a James River test on Friday, January 5. Randolph-Henry will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 40-25 league win over Cumberland (Cumberland, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 5-2.
