Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Wilton Warriors (Wilton, CT), 52-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Stamford upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Black Knights travel to St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT) to clash with the Cadets in a Fairfield County bout on Friday, January 5. The Cadets go into the bout with a record of 5-0. St. Joseph won 58-47 in their recent league bout against Danbury (Danbury, CT)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Warde Mustangs (Fairfield, CT) in a Fairfield County bout, on Friday, January 5. Wilton will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 42-41 league loss to Greenwich (Greenwich, CT).
