Connecticut High School Basketball - Wilton nips Danbury
January 24, 2024: Danbury, CT 06811 Wilton Warriors (Wilton, CT) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Danbury Hatters (Danbury, CT), 45-41 in a league bout.
With the victory, Wilton upgrades its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to New Canaan (New Canaan, CT) to play the Rams in a Fairfield County bout on Friday, January 26. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 7-5. New Canaan lost 40-35 in their recent league bout against Greenwich (Greenwich, CT)
Next up, the Hatters play the Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT) in a Fairfield County bout, on Friday, January 26. Danbury will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Black Knights come into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 42-33 league win over Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT).
