Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers (Bridgeport, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Danbury Hatters (Danbury, CT), 57-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Bridgeport Central upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to Ansonia (Ansonia, CT) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Ansonia lost 55-44 in their recent non-league bout against Seymour (Seymour, CT)

Next up, the Hatters play the New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 26. Danbury will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Green Wave go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 51-46 league win over Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT).
