California High School Basketball - Bear River overwhelms Center
January 3, 2024: Antelope, CA 95843 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA) and the host Center Cougars (Antelope, CA), saw Bear River's basketball squad wallop Center by a tally of 48-23.
With the victory, Bear River improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA) to play the Raging Rhinos in a challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Raging Rhinos come into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Twelve Bridges won 63-4 in their recent league challenge against Lindhurst (Olivehurst, CA)
Next up, the Cougars play the Marysville Indians (Marysville, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Center will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 41-30 league loss to Sutter (Sutter, CA).
