Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Holston Cavaliers (Damascus, VA), 38-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Grundy upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Golden Wave travel to Twin Valley (Pilgrims Knob, VA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-3.
