North Carolina High School Basketball - Watauga routs West Wilkes
January 3, 2024: Boone, NC 28607 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC), by a margin of 69-34.
The Pioneers (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, North Wilkes was trounced by East Wilkes (Ronda, NC), 56-48, in a non-league outing.
The Blackhawks now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Forbush for a non-league outing on Friday, January 5.
