Minnesota High School Basketball - Albany bests Minnehaha Academy
January 3, 2025: Albany, MN 56307 The Albany Huskies (Albany, MN) basketball defeated the visiting Minnehaha Academy Red Hawks (Minneapolis, MN), 62-44 in Friday's non-league test.
Next, the Huskies clash with the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters (Sauk Centre, MN) in a AA Section 6 test, on Tuesday, January 7. Albany will attempt to improve on its 9-0 season record. The Mainstreeters come into the test with a 5-3 record after their 72-51 non-league loss to Montevideo (Montevideo, MN).
The Red Hawks (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Southwest Christian (Chaska, MN). The Stars go into the non-league bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Southwest Christian fell by Becker (Becker, MN), 83-79, in a non-league bout.
