Nevada High School Basketball - Battle Mountain fells Silver Stage

January 3, 2025: Battle Mountain, NV 89820

The Battle Mountain Longhorns basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Silver Stage Nighthawks to 42 in the Longhorns league triumph on Friday.

The Longhorns now have a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Sierra Lutheran for a 2A Northern game on Saturday, January 4. Battle Mountain will confront a Falcons team coming off a 63-44 league loss to Pershing County (Lovelock, NV). The Falcons record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Silver Stage falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Nighthawks travel to West Wendover (West Wendover, NV) to confront the Wolverines in a 2A Northern game on Saturday, January 4. The Wolverines go into the game with a record of 10-4. West Wendover won 69-59 in their recent league game against Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV)
