Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA), 77-60 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Liberty advances its record to 11-2 on the year. The Lions travel to Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Knights enter the match with a record of 5-7. Las Lomas lost 58-55 in their recent non-league match against San Leandro (San Leandro, CA)

The Panthers now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Redwood for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Benicia will face a Giants squad coming off a 59-46 non-league win over Prescott (Prescott, AZ). The Giants record now stands at 6-4.
