The Braham Bombers basketball team scored 87 points and limited the host Upsala Cardinals to 85 in the Bombers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bombers now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Pine City for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. Braham will play a Dragons team coming off a 76-61 non-league loss to East Central (Sandstone, MN). The Dragons record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Upsala falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Swanville (Swanville, MN) to battle the Bulldogs in a A Section 5 contest on Saturday, January 4. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a record of 4-2. Swanville won 72-48 in their recent league contest against Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] (Isle, MN)
