South Dakota High School Basketball - Castlewood routed by Hamlin
January 3, 2025: Hayti, SD 57241 Hamlin Chargers (Hayti, SD) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Castlewood Warriors (Castlewood, SD), 74-52 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Hamlin upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Chargers travel to Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD) to face the Wambdi in a non-league match on Thursday, January 9. The Wambdi enter the match with a record of 0-5.
The Warriors now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Flandreau for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Castlewood will face a Fliers squad coming off a 60-43 non-league loss to St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD). The Fliers record now stands at 2-2.
