In Friday's league test, the Central Chargers (Macon, GA) basketball squad defeated the visiting Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA), by a score of 67-54.

Next, the Chargers clash with the Bleckley County Royals (Cochran, GA) in a A D1 Region 2 test, on Tuesday, January 7. Central will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Royals come into the test with a 6-7 record after their 62-41 non-league win over Dodge County (Eastman, GA).

The Warriors (2-10) will now prepare for their test against Warren County (Warrenton, GA). The Screaming Devils come into the non-league test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Warren County overcame Thomson (Thomson, GA), 56-55, in a non-league test.
