Georgia High School Basketball - Dodge County nips Jefferson County
February 5, 2025: Eastman, GA 31023 The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Dodge County Indians (Eastman, GA) and the visiting Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA), observed Dodge County's basketball team edge Jefferson County by a score of 55-49.
The Indians (13-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Dublin (Dublin, GA). The Fighting Irish come into the A D1 Region 2 challenge with a 18-4 record. In their last challenge, Dublin edged Washington County (Sandersville, GA), 57-49, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Washington County Golden Hawks (Sandersville, GA) in a A D1 Region 2 challenge, on Friday, February 7. Jefferson County will attempt to improve on its 4-18 season record. The Golden Hawks come into the challenge with a 7-15 record after their 61-48 league loss to East Laurens (East Dublin, GA).
