The Commerce Tigers (Commerce, TX) basketball were winner over the visiting Rains Wildcats (Emory, TX), 63-55 in Friday's league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 14-7 record. They play next when they travel to Winnsboro for a 3A Region II District 12 bout on Tuesday, January 7. Commerce will play a Raiders team coming off a 49-45 non-league win over White Oak (White Oak, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 6-7.
