January 3, 2025: Berwyn, PA 19312 Conestoga Pioneers (Berwyn, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Haverford Fords (Havertown, PA), 70-44 in a league match.
With the victory, Conestoga upgrades its record to 9-1 on the year. The Pioneers host Great Valley (Malvern, PA) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 9-3. Great Valley lost 58-52 in their recent non-league match against Radnor (Radnor, PA)
The Fords now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Penncrest for a Central match on Tuesday, January 7. Haverford will face a Lions squad coming off a 59-34 league win over Radnor (Radnor, PA). The Lions record now stands at 10-0.
