January 3, 2025: Lanesboro, MN 55949 Lanesboro Burros (Lanesboro, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Crestwood Cadets (Cresco, IA), 52-36 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Lanesboro upgrades its record to 6-5 on the year. The Burros host Grand Meadow (Grand Meadow, MN) to face the Superlarks in a A Section 1 match on Friday, January 3. The Superlarks enter the match with a record of 1-6. Grand Meadow lost 68-33 in their recent league match against Blooming Prairie (Blooming Prairie, MN)
The Cadets now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lanesboro for a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. Crestwood will face a Burros squad coming off a 52-36 non-league win over Crestwood (Cresco, IA). The Burros record now stands at 5-5.
