The Lytle Pirates basketball team scored 76 points and limited the visiting Crystal City Javelinas to 63 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now possess a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Natalia for a 3A Region IV District 28 game on Tuesday, January 7. Lytle will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 48-28 league win over Poteet (Poteet, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-10.

With the loss, Crystal City falls to 9-7 on the campaign. The Javelinas host Hondo (Hondo, TX) to confront the Owls in a 3A Region IV District 28 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Owls go into the game with a record of 5-15.
