January 3, 2025: Ontonagon, MI 49953 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ontonagon Gladiators (Ontonagon, MI) and the visiting Hancock Bulldogs (Hancock, MI), observed Ontonagon's basketball team overwhelm Hancock by a margin of 63-35.
The Gladiators (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Jeffers (Painesdale, MI). The Jets come into the non-league challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Jeffers was trounced by Calumet (Calumet, MI), 53-40, in a non-league challenge.
With the loss, Hancock falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Ishpeming (Ishpeming, MI) to play the Hematites in a non-league bout on Monday, January 6. The Hematites go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Ishpeming won 85-42 in their recent league bout against Manistique (Manistique, MI)
