January 3, 2025: Shreveport, LA Haughton Buccaneers (Haughton, LA) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Magnolia School of Excellence (Shreveport, LA), 81-70 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Haughton advances its record to 21-8 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Mansfield (Mansfield, LA) to face the Wolverines in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. The Wolverines enter the match with a record of 11-15. Mansfield won 64-43 in their recent non-league match against Benton (Benton, LA)
The now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union Parish for a 2A District 1 match on Friday, January 10.
