Louisiana High School Basketball - Haughton triumphant over North Caddo
January 16, 2025: Haughton, LA 71037 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Haughton Buccaneers (Haughton, LA) and the visiting North Caddo Titans (Vivian, LA), observed Haughton's basketball team overwhelm North Caddo by a score of 74-33.
The Buccaneers (24-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA). The Chiefs come into the 5A District 1 challenge with a 15-7 record. In their last challenge, Natchitoches Central trounced Southside (Youngsville, LA), 62-61, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Titans encounter the Homer Pelicans (Homer, LA) in a 2A District 1 challenge, on Friday, January 17. North Caddo will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Pelicans come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 74-28 league loss to Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA).
