In Friday's league contest, the visiting Northwest Catholic Lions basketball team scored a close 62-55 win over the Southington Blue Knights.

The Lions (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bristol Central (Bristol, CT). The Rams come into the Central Connecticut - West Colonial contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Bristol Central was tipped by East Hartford (East Hartford, CT), 67-0, in a non-league contest.
