January 3, 2025: Georgetown, KY 40324 The West Jessamine Colts (Nicholasville, KY) basketball toppled the host Scott County Cardinals (Georgetown, KY), 72-52 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Colts now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Southwestern for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 4. West Jessamine will play a Warriors team coming off a 76-73 non-league loss to Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Warriors record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, Scott County falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Madison Southern (Berea, KY) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Madison Southern lost 73-69 in their recent league bout against Madison Central (Richmond, KY)
