Michigan High School Basketball - South Christian knocks off Wyoming
January 3, 2025: Wyoming, MI 49509 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the South Christian Sailors (Grand Rapids, MI) and the host Wyoming Wolves (Wyoming, MI), observed South Christian's basketball team overcome Wyoming by a score of 65-53.
The Sailors (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Thornapple Kellogg (Middleville, MI). The Trojans come into the Ottawa-Kent - Gold challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Thornapple Kellogg defeated Caledonia (Caledonia, MI), 47-44, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wolves battle the Northview Wildcats (Grand Rapids, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Wyoming will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 69-37 non-league win over Union (Grand Rapids, MI).
