Louisiana High School Basketball - Mt. Carmel overwhelms Carver Collegiate Academy
January 3, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70124 The Mt. Carmel Cubs basketball team scored 44 points and limited the visiting Carver Collegiate Academy Rams to 23 in the Cubs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cubs now possess a 10-4 record. They play next when they host Salmen for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. Mt. Carmel will confront a Spartans team coming off a 58-33 non-league loss to Blount (Eight Mile, AL). The Spartans record now stands at 6-7.
With the loss, Carver Collegiate Academy falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Booker T. Washington (New Orleans, LA) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7.
