Louisiana High School Basketball - Northshore can't hold off Mt. Carmel
December 5, 2024: New Orleans, LA 70124 Mt. Carmel Cubs (New Orleans, LA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Northshore Panthers (Slidell, LA), 45-42 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Mt. Carmel advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Cubs travel to Newman (New Orleans, LA) to face the Greenies in a non-league match on Friday, December 6. The Greenies enter the match with a record of 2-4. Newman won 61-34 in their recent non-league match against Bonnabel (Kenner, LA)
The Panthers now own a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Benjamin Franklin for a non-league match on Friday, December 6. Northshore will face a Falcons squad coming off a 52-28 non-league loss to Terrebonne (Houma, LA). The Falcons record now stands at 2-5.
