The Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves nipped the visiting Southern Alamance Patriots basketball squad by a final score of 37-30 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Fighting Red Wolves face the Orange Panthers (Hillsborough, NC) in a 3A Central outing, on Tuesday, January 7. Cedar Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Panthers enter the outing with a 6-6 record after their 58-41 league win over Williams (Burlington, NC).

The Patriots (2-9) will now prepare for their outing against Cummings (Burlington, NC). The Cavaliers enter the non-league outing with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, Cummings was nipped by Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC), 62-16, in a league outing.
