January 3, 2025: Spokane, WA 99212 Deer Park Stags (Deer Park, WA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host West Valley Eagles (Spokane, WA), 76-16 in a league match.
With the victory, Deer Park upgrades its record to 5-0 on the year. The Stags travel to Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls, WA) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 6-4. Lakeside lost 47-42 in their recent non-league match against Pullman (Pullman, WA)
The Eagles now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Central for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane match on Tuesday, January 7. West Valley will face a Wolfpack squad coming off a 51-40 league win over Rogers (Spokane, WA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 2-8.
