Texas High School Basketball - Duncanville nips Lancaster

January 3, 2025: Lancaster, TX 75146

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes basketball team scored a close 55-48 triumph over the Lancaster Tigers.

The Panthers and Pantherettes (17-5) will now prepare for their contest against Horn (Mesquite, TX). The Jaguars go into the 6A Region II District 11 contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, Horn was tipped by DeSoto (DeSoto, TX), 57-53, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Mesquite Skeeters (Mesquite, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Lancaster will attempt to better on its 13-5 season record. The Skeeters go into the contest with a 12-10 record after their 44-43 league win over Skyline (Dallas, TX).
