Arkansas High School Basketball - Wynne bested by Earle
January 3, 2025: Wynne, AR 72396 Earle Bulldogs (Earle, AR) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Wynne Yellowjackets (Wynne, AR), 78-70 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Earle advances its record to 14-5 on the year. The Bulldogs host Armorel (Armorel, AR) to face the Tigers in a 1A Region 3 match on Thursday, January 9. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 2-9. Armorel lost 59-17 in their recent league match against Marked Tree (Marked Tree, AR)
The Yellowjackets now own a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marmaduke for a non-league match on Monday, January 6. Wynne will face a Greyhounds squad coming off a 62-31 non-league loss to Riverside (Lake City, AR). The Greyhounds record now stands at 7-13.
