With the victory, Jackson Christian advances its record to 13-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to University School of Jackson (Jackson, TN) to face the Bruins in a Division II-A West District 5 match on Friday, January 10. The Bruins enter the match with a record of 6-4.
The Golden Tide now own a 0-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson North Side for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Peabody will face a Indians squad coming off a 50-20 non-league loss to Chester County (Henderson, TN). The Indians record now stands at 3-14.
